Love at first taste

So the last couple of days here have been CRAZY!!!!!! if you walk outside you have to hold on to something, otherwise you would blow away….seriously. The wind is so loud at night that we are fearful we will wake up from our house being blown apart, and that’s not good. For the most part we have been enjoying a bit of a change in the weather, especially Drew and his small obsession with it.

The other night was exciting because we picked up AUSTIN AND CALLAN!!!!!!! We got the the airport around 12:00am and waited for quite some time, we knew that they got stopped and hassled because of Austin and his beautiful dark skin……So after a while of us making excited sounds every time the airport arrival door opened we realized, we are excited not to have to deal with this airport anymore after Dec. 28th!!!! Then…..Finally…….THEY CAME!!!………..and they had the same expression on their faces as us when we finished with our ridiculous security check. So many hugs and nuzzles, laughter and tears……..We got them home safely and tucked into their beds and off they went. When morning came they sort of awoke, lets just say jetlag is not a pretty thing. We talked and walked, and they were finally embraced with the best pita in the world, their toes tingled and it was love at first taste, what a beautiful time. Later that night we took them to a thanksgiving/Christmas dinner at our church where they were surrounded by 10 different nationalities and sooo much food. We sang a fun memory repeat song, played white elephant, and looked for an almond in our Danish dessert so that we could win a prize, then the jetlag wall hit again and off we went and tucked away in their beds we put them.  We are excited about the adventures and pictures to come and excited to share them with you all. WHoop Whoop
